What does a celebrant do?
A celebrant works with you to create and lead a personalised ceremony that reflects your story, values and wishes. Whether you're celebrating a wedding, vow renewal or welcoming a new addition to your family, I'll help create a meaningful occasion that's uniquely yours.
Why choose a celebrant-led celebration?
A celebrant-led ceremony gives you complete freedom to create something that reflects your personality, your values and your story.
Rather than following a standard script, every ceremony is written specifically for the people at the centre of it.
How do we complete the legal marriage part?
To legally marry in Ireland, couples must give at least three months' notice to the Civil Registration Service and complete the necessary legal requirements.
Many couples choose to have a simple legal registration before or after their celebrant-led wedding day.
I'm happy to point you in the right direction and explain how other couples typically approach this.
How do we know if we're the right fit?
Choosing someone to lead one of life's biggest moments is a personal decision, so it's important that you feel comfortable with the person standing beside you on the day.
That's why I always like to have an initial chat with couples and families before anything is decided. It's a chance for us to get to know each other, chat about your ideas and make sure we're the right fit.

What happens once we book?
We'll start with an initial chat where I get to know you and hear about your plans.
From there, I'll guide you through a simple process designed to uncover your story, the people who matter most to you, and the moments you'd like to include. I'll then draft your ceremony and work with you until it feels just right.
How involved can we be in creating the ceremony??
As involved as you'd like to be. Some couples know exactly what they want, while others prefer guidance and suggestions. My role is to make the process enjoyable and stress-free while ensuring the final ceremony feels authentic to you.
Can we include family members, friends, readings or special rituals?
Absolutely. One of the joys of a celebrant-led ceremony is the flexibility it offers. Together, we can include readings, music, personal vows, family participation, symbolic rituals or cultural traditions that are meaningful to you.
Do you only work with couples?
Not at all. I also create naming ceremonies and vow renewals, helping families celebrate life's important milestones in a way that feels personal and memorable.
Do you work with same-sex couples and families?
Absolutely. Love is love, and every story deserves to be celebrated. I proudly welcome couples and families of all backgrounds, identities and beliefs. Whoever you are, and whatever your story looks like, you'll always receive a warm welcome.
We're not great at being the centre of attention. Can you help?
Absolutely. Many couples tell me they're nervous about standing in front of family and friends, and that's completely normal. My role is to help you feel relaxed and comfortable, guiding you through the celebration so you can focus on enjoying the moment rather than worrying about what's coming next.
We're travelling to Ireland from abroad. Can we still work together?
Absolutely. We can plan everything through video calls, email and phone, making the process simple wherever you're based. By the time your celebration arrives, we'll know each other well and everything will feel relaxed and familiar.
What information do you need from us?
As much or as little as you'd like to share! I'll ask questions about your story, the people who are important to you, the moments that have shaped your relationship or family, and the atmosphere you'd like to create. Often it's the little stories—the ones that make you smile—that become everyone's favourite part of the day.
How much do you charge?
My fees vary depending on the type of ceremony and location. All packages include: Initial consultation, Ceremony planning and writing, Unlimited revisions, Delivery of your ceremony on the day. Please get in touch for a personalised quote.
When should we book?
The sooner the better, especially for weddings during peak season. That said, it's always worth reaching out, even if your date is approaching, as I may still have availability.
Do you travel?
Yes. I'm based in Ireland and am happy to travel for weddings, vow renewals and naming ceremonies. Travel may be included or charged separately depending on the location, and I'll always be transparent about any costs.
